- You need an ASPI4DOS.SYS type driver for Corel to be able to talk to
- the SCSI device. For CTBACKUP (both DOS & Windows versions) an ASPI
- driver is all that is required. The CD-ROM driver you already got
- working; the tape programs work the same way. They are very simplistic
- w/o a lot of frills. This means they can handle almost ALL SCSI tape
- drives (I tested it with old SCSI-1 Teac cassette drives).

-
- I don't know who wrote it, but it does suck. It takes over Windows
- in such a way that if a disk error occurs on the source disk, Cancel
- is the same as Retry. When you hit Ctrl-Alt-Del, it does not
- kill off the setup program, but kills Windows itself.

- I did not make any additional modifications to either file. I don't
- believe the setup program did either, but I may be wrong.

-
- I don't have this problem. Our test systems include 16 MB systems to
- 640KB machines. We used no memory manager, QEMM, and 386Max.

- I only had a few complaints which I sent to their tech support people.
- They were fairly responsive. I got a new CD-ROM driver after mentioning
- a bug (V1.10i).
