- I am on a quest. Looking for anyones comments on which CR-ROM drive is the
- least troublesome as far as installation\compatability etc. I have an
- Adaptec
- 1542b on a 486 ISA system but also have a MAC IICX that I want to attach
- this
- CD-ROM drive. I have been leaning toward the NEC CDR-74 which appears
- quite
- fast (in relative terms) and can be used on both the MAC and PC systems.
- Any and all comments appreciated.
