  11. If I use an Adaptec 1542B on an ISA machine with > 16 megs and running 
  12. DOS/Windows, how does the ASPI driver allow the board to do bus
  13. mastering to addresses above the 16 meg line?  Will ASPI automatically
  14. detect the fact that the system is > 16 megs at startup and then
  15. double-buffer everything, even for addresses below the 16 meg line?

  17. I'm particularly concerned about using the Adaptec in a DOS virtual
  18. machine under Windows, since on a machine like the one I describe there
  19. is a good chance that all of the virtual addresses will translate to
  20. real addresses above the 16 meg line.
