- My screen turns violet when i try to boot my machine. It's
- an ALR Business VEISA 486/33 with an Adaptec AHA1740A and
- an Eagle NE3200. It seems that the problem goes away if
- i take away either of those cards. The problem is intermittent.
-
- The NE3200 uses IRQ 5 which is the only resource used. The
- AHA1740A is run in Standard Mode with IRQ 11.
-
- I've tried to move around the boards. Tried different mother boards,
- different BIOS's, switched everything i can think of included:
- RAM/ROM/DMA/VGA-card.
-
- This combination has worked before but now .......
-
- Any suggestions?
-
- Cheers, Thomas
