- Hello,
-
- At work I use an HP Laserjet Series II printer which appears incredibly
- slow when printing graphics images. There does not appear to be any
- difference in print speed whether I use a 9600 baud serial line or a
- parallel port, suggesting that the printer is the communication
- bottleneck. Should I expect to see an improvement in speed when I use
- a parallel port? What sort of improvement in print speed could I expect
- if I upgraded to a more recent model of HP Laserjet?
-
- Oh, I should mention that the printer currently has 1.5MB of memory.
-
- Any comments would be much appreciated.
