  12. My LaserWriter IIf just stopped working in the middle of a job. The
  13. indicator lights don't indicate a need for service, but something's wrong.
  14. Can anypne offer a suggestion as to what the problem might be, and what
  15. steps I might take before having it serviced?

  17. The Low Toner Level indicator is Flashing. [The manual suggests the
  18. cartridge is installed improperly.] It had been in for several months, and
  19. had just printed a page, if fact.

  21. The Paper Jam indicator was on Steady. [The manual says there's a paper jam.]
  22.  
  23. Neither indicator, alone or together, warrents service according to the
  24. manual.

  26. I removed the toner - shook the cartridge several times - found very
  27. little toner there. Looked for a jam - there was none. Installed a brand
  28. new apple toner cartridge, fired it up and got the same lights.

  30. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
