  19. I am an owner of a BJ300.
  20. I am quite satisfacted of it both for the speed and the quality of the 
  21. printout.
  22. Much depends on the quality of the paper you are using.
  23. I say 'much' because these printers work really fine provided you use 
  24. paper of good quality.
  25. Paradoxically the paper sold by Canon (for laser-copyers) is poor for
  26. the BJs. After many experimentations I found out that Xerox 3R90008 is
  27. the best of all (at least in the neighbors).

  29. The only problem of Canon BJs is that they are too fast !
  30. I mean that when you print pages in High Quality mode, bold prints may not
  31. dry out in time for receiving the next page, causing sometimes spots of ink
  32. here and there.
  33. A possible solution is to set High Speed mode which uses half the ink as
  34. suggested for graphics characters on the manual.

  36. Anyway the quality of in HQ mode is astonishing.
  37. On the other hand the documentation provided is not so clear and when Canon
  38. claims that the BJ300 may print on A3 size sheets is telling a half-truth.

  40. In effect you can print on A3 sheets, but you can only adjust form length !

  42. If you need to really print on A3 sheets, buy a BJ330.
