  13. 550C uses two cartridges *at the same time* so that you have a black
  14. cartridge AND a color catridge plugged in to neighbouring thingamings.
  15. They work simultaneously meaning that there's no longer a problem with
  16. blacks formed by mixing the three colors being OFF-black (greenish, I
  17. believe).  Overall effect - much sharper colors, better performance, no
  18. need to switch cartridges between color printing and b/w printing.
