  12. I have a couple of Digi-Data Gigastore 2.4 MB VHS tape drives.  I run them
  13. on a uVAX II running VMS 5.4 with a QT13 controller.
  14. Both have lost the ability to read/write/init tapes.  In the past I was able
  15. to either upgrade the Emulex firmware chip or get Digi-Data to recondition
  16. the read/write heads.  Now, Digi-Data seems to have lost interest in these
  17. beasts.  
  18. Does anyone in the Boston area have a working drive?
  19. Has anyone had a similar experience and what did you do?
