- I have a couple of Digi-Data Gigastore 2.4 MB VHS tape drives. I run them
- on a uVAX II running VMS 5.4 with a QT13 controller.
- Both have lost the ability to read/write/init tapes. In the past I was able
- to either upgrade the Emulex firmware chip or get Digi-Data to recondition
- the read/write heads. Now, Digi-Data seems to have lost interest in these
- beasts.
- Does anyone in the Boston area have a working drive?
- Has anyone had a similar experience and what did you do?
- Thanks for any help.
