  12. If anyone who is using oracle out there on a VMS operating system
  13. has seen this sort of problem any advise to solve this problem
  14. would be appreciated. We have increased the BYTLM and BIOLM quotas
  15. for the individual users and even increased the LPRSIZE parameter
  16. in sysgen according to DEC CSC but still have the problem. Unable to
  17. find anything on Oracle's bulliten via the modem.

  26.           was   full.   This  condition  might  happen  often  if
  27.           buffered I/O limits are reached or if applications have
  28.           the  design  flaws  cited  below.   Also  this might be
  29.           caused  if  a  high  priority  process  is  trying   to
  30.           communicate   to   a  lower  priority  process  through
  31.           mailboxes.

  33.           To alleviate the problem, you might try one or more  of
  34.           the following:

  36.            o  Increase the process(s) BIOLM
  37.            o  Check the application for design errors:
  38.                -  Mailbox BUFQUO limit too small
  39.                -  A mailbox writer with no mailbox reader
  40.                -  The mailbox reader process  is  not  responsive
