- DECW$PRINTSCREEN.EXE takes parameters but I cannot find
- them explained anywhere, nor can I get them to work
- properly. I know that it is expecting parameters,
- because, if you do the following:
-
- $ PR :== $DECW$PRINTSCREEN
- $ PR -h
-
- It spits out usage as:
-
- Usage:
- dxprint [-p] [-b|g] [-f] [-r] [geom*] [-t int] [-P queue] [file]
- dxprint [-p] -c [-f] [geom*] [-t int] [-P queue] [file]
- dxprint -d [-b|g] [-r] [geom*] [-t int] [-P queue] [file]
- dxprint -d -c [geom*] [-t int] [-P queue] [file]
- dxprint -s [-b|g] [-a] [-r] [geom*] [-t int] [-P queue] [file]
- dxprint -s -c [geom*] [-t int] [-P queue] [file]
- *geom is -x int -y int -h int -w int
-
- I don't want to deal with the X-Windows interface at all.
- I want to send a postscript screen dump of the whole screen to
- a postscript queue so I try:
-
- $ PR "-p -P PS"
-
- But it writes a file in my home directory instead.
-
- Any ideas? documentation ptrs?
-
- the dx indicates maybe Ultrix but I cannot find dxprint on
- our DECStation.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
