- That's it exacly. Here's what you do:

- 1. Back up the disk to tape or another disk.

- 2. Determine the maximum number of files you will ever need on the disk.

- 3. Inititalize the disk with _BOTH_ /maximum_files= _AND_ /headers= set to
- the figure determined in step two. If you don't use /headers=, it won't
- work.
