- Hi again :-)
-
- Does anyone have experience or thoughts on redundant-cpu OS-9 systems?
-
- This company wishes to have two systems; one would take over in case
- the other goes down. I believe they originally thought of having
- two cpu cards in one VME cage, sharing all I/O. But the more I think
- about it, the more it seems to make sense to have two separate full
- systems...
-
- In any case, has anyone here implemented such a beast? If so, do you
- have any tips? Did you simply have a watchdog program yank the Reset
- (or Halt?) line on the bad system?
-
- thanks! - kevin <kdarling@catt.ncsu.edu>
