  14. Well, I am amazed at the events which happened this afternoon.
  15. I installed OS/2 in logical drive e:  as fat; in logical drive f: as
  16. fat.

  18. drive e:-------------Beta GRE-WIN

  20. drive f:-------------GA + CSD
  21.  
  22. Well, the sequence is I installed the beta first and when I was
  23. installing the CSD to the GA in drive f:  I deselected the e: drive so
  24. it wouldn't get updated with the CSD.  Anyway on the last diskette, #12
  25. of the 3.5 CSD...I noticed it was taking a little longer than the other
  26. diskettes.   What the CSD did was install to E: as well as F:.

  28. The effect, none that I see so far as the partitions go,,they both boot
  29. up as they should.

  31. The amazement is, I used the device install in the OS/2 System Folder
  32. and applied the Trident 800-600-16 driver to the GRE-WIN Beta partition
  33. and wouldn't you know it...NOW MY TRIDENT CARD IS WORKING PERFECTLY.
  34. I do not have to readjust the screen...there is no flickering or lost of
  35. the picture when I go from graphics in a full screen back to the WPS.

  37. I couldn't believe what my eyes were showing me...so as you guessed, I
  38. decided to apply this same driver to the GA-CDS partition.  IT STILL
  39. WORKS!!!

  41. I am going to nail this sucker down and only upgrade when everything
  42. else is fixed...I can live with this one so far.
