  32. Having just got back into the country last Friday after a three-week
  33. trip, I eagerly ftp'd the SP from ftp-os2 and installed it.

  35. However, the ET-4000 drivers seem to be incredibly sloooow in scrolling
  36. of text in OS/2 and DOS windows.  Further, when running PageMaker
  37. seamless, the color palette seems to get messed up.

  39. The text scrolling was sooooo slow, that I actually went back to the
  40. stock 640x480 driver.  
  41.  
  42. Since I missed about three weeks' worth of discussion, I'm hoping that
  43. these problems have already been noticed and reported.  (Perhaps there's
  44. even a fix been discovered?)

  46. Also, I got the impression that IBM was going to release the source for
  47. these drivers.  Is this correct, and are they available yet?  (It would
  48. be nice if someone could modify them for 16-color;  I need the
  49. resolution much more than I need 256 colors...)
