- Having just got back into the country last Friday after a three-week
- trip, I eagerly ftp'd the SP from ftp-os2 and installed it.
-
- However, the ET-4000 drivers seem to be incredibly sloooow in scrolling
- of text in OS/2 and DOS windows. Further, when running PageMaker
- seamless, the color palette seems to get messed up.
-
- The text scrolling was sooooo slow, that I actually went back to the
- stock 640x480 driver.
-
- Since I missed about three weeks' worth of discussion, I'm hoping that
- these problems have already been noticed and reported. (Perhaps there's
- even a fix been discovered?)
-
- Also, I got the impression that IBM was going to release the source for
- these drivers. Is this correct, and are they available yet? (It would
- be nice if someone could modify them for 16-color; I need the
- resolution much more than I need 256 colors...)
