  14. well if you own OS/2, SP, Winos231-Beta then all you need is the *REAL*
  15. MS-Windows 3.1 to get a bug-free Win3.1 session under OS/2 (alas only full
  16. screen):
  17.   - Install OS/2 (4 partitions: a) Boot-Manager b) OS/2 (HPFS/FAT) -> C:
  18.     c) Plain DOS (FAT) -> C: for the problematic stuff d) FAT partition -> D:
  19.   - Install Service Pack over OS/2
  20.   - Boot, choose DOS-Drive C:, install MS-Windows 3.1 in Drive D: (e.g. in
  21.     D:\WIN31)
  22.   - Boot, choose OS/2-Drive C:, apply these steps:
  23.      - copy OS2K286.EXE from Winos231-Beta in D:\WIN31\SYSTEM
  24.      - copy WINOS2.COM  from Winos231-Beta in D:\WIN31
  25.      - copy D:\WIN31\SYSTEM\GDI.EXE to D:\WIN31\SYSTEM\OS2GDI.EXE
  26.      - copy D:\WIN31\SYSTEM\USER.EXE to D:\WIN31\SYSTEM\OS2USER.EXE
  27.   - Change settings of D:\WIN31\WINOS2.COm to DOS-fullscreen
  28.   - Change the reference of C:\OS2\MDOS\WINOS2 in config.sys to
  29.     D:\WIN31 (SET PATH ...)
  30.   - Change the reference of C:\OS2\MDOS\WINOS2 in autoexec.bat to
  31.     D:\WIN31 (PATH ...)
  32.   - Reboot, you are done!
