- Elm is a very nice mail front-end, but it is not a newsreader. :-)

- The ones that are available are Snews 2.0, trn, and GNUS (for use
- with emacs.) All these work with flat files; none to my knowledge
- runs over nntp. IBM packages an nntp-ready version of rn with
- their TCP/IP, and I believer FTP Software also furnishes a
- newsreader with their TCP/IP.
