  14. Is anyone else having problems using the new EZTAPE/PM software since the
  15. installation of the CSD?

  17. Tech support had me try a number of different options for their device driver,
  18. none of which worked.

  20. I finally got Irwin/Maynard to say that others who had working systems before
  21. the CSD now are having problems.  If anyone else is having problems since
  22. installing the CSD, PLEASE call it in to Maynard (800-541-3330) and report the
  23. problem.  When you report the problem, make sure you tell them if you're using
  24. an MCA machine or a standard ISA one.  For the MCA machines, IBM2FLPY.ADD is
  25. used, but IBM1FLPY.ADD is used for non-MCA machines.  They had a hard time
  26. understanding this!

  28. I'm running off of an IDE controller and one tech was trying to get be to use
  29. their 4100 controller, or to buy a different IDE controller.  If you are 
  30. having problems running off of the floppy controller, tell them what the brand
  31. is.  Mine is a UMC.  I refuse to change until they make a final determination
  32. as to what the problem is (they JUST installed the CSD yesterday!).

  34. The only thing I have left to try is to remove the hardcard driver (Quantum)
  35. from my config.sys and see if that makes a difference.
