  48. Yep, that's exactly what I meant. You can create a bigger file but it 
  49. doesn't use any more of it. However, if you change the PageOverCommit var.
  50. to a value > 4, you change the Max. Recommended Size and can get even
  51. bigger swapfiles.

  53. As for the reason that the default value is 4, you would have to ask the 
  54. MS gods. My personal guess would be that they rolled a dice. :)
