  29. Well, you just confused the hell out of me.  The documentation with my
  30. card says that you don't use ASPI4DOS.SYS when you're trying to run
  31. the AHA-1740 in Enhanced Mode.  The driver you should be using is
  32. called ASPIEDOS.SYS.  The ASPI4DOS.SYS is for AHA-154x boards and for
  33. the AHA-174x cards running in Standard mode.

  35. I have an Adaptec 1740 (with version 3.0 of ASPI4DOS and version 1.0
  36. of ASPIEDOS) and it has worked like a hose in both Standard and
  37. Enhanced modes.  The only problem I've had is getting it to play with
  38. my Bernoulli.

  59. Well, mine is a little bit different.  I use QEMM 6.03 instead of
  60. HIMEM and EMM386, I use ASPIEDOS instead of ASPI4DOS, and I load
  61. things with the Adaptec driver first, the QEMM driver second, and
  62. everything else goes high.
