I am having a nagging problem with my sound card. It plays the wav files without any problems. I can use an older version of jukebox (the one
that came with the 1.5 drivers) to play midi files. But once I do this,
I cannot play wav files after closing jukebox. Using the recently
downloaded jukebox and v 2 drivers I cannot play any midi files. I
know it has something to do with the midi mapper, but I have run out
of patience and cannot figure out how to set the mapper. When trying
to start the jukebox or any other midi software in win, I get various
messages like incorrect mapper settings or device currently in use...
Is it a mapper problem? I have tried several midi sequencers and mostly get pops and clicks when I try to play anything. Can someone out there
with a sb 2 provide me with a correct midi map?
Is it another problem such as incorrect driver? I think I have installed the 2.0 driver correctly but I really dont know what else I have to have installed in control panel drivers.
Please help! I am tired of hearing/seeing: by SB documentation "please
see windows user manual for midi settings" and vicer versa! I really do not understand the midi mapper, the key maps, or the patch maps. Can
