- Originally I assumed that MS ACCESS would come with some sort of DDE
- interface to allow external programs to access its data. However, when
- I tried to confirm this with Microsoft techies in the UK, I was told that
- ACCESS cannot act as a server - it can use DDE to get info from Excel, but
- the implication was that the reverse could not be done.

- Can anyone with tell me what they know on this matter - I can't believe
- that it is impossible to get data out of ACCESS for other programs to
- use.
