  13. Originally I assumed that MS ACCESS would come with some sort of DDE
  14. interface to allow external programs to access its data.  However, when
  15. I tried to confirm this with Microsoft techies in the UK, I was told that
  16. ACCESS cannot act as a server - it can use DDE to get info from Excel, but
  17. the implication was that the reverse could not be done.

  19. Can anyone with tell me what they know on this matter - I can't believe
  20. that it is impossible to get data out of ACCESS for other programs to
  21. use.
