- Personally I'm glad I migrated from vi to emacs about 2-1/2 years ago.
- I thought vi had been beaten into me to the point I'd never forget it.
- Ha! I tried using it recently and couldn't remember hardly any of it.
- I barely got the file edited, and I used to be pretty hard core too.
- So if you're worried you can't adjust to a new editor, you can.

- You're right about the mouse vs. keyboard issue though. If you don't
- want to use a mouse, go get microemacs for windows. (Look for
- mewinXX.zip.) The pull down menus list all the most common key
- combinations on them, so you can ween yourself from the mouse (and vi
- for that matter) pretty quick. Also I think if you look into it,
- macros have been written for emacs to make it key-bindings compatible
- with vi. So if you could lay your hands on one of those vi emulation
- macros files you'd be set.
