  14. One of the many 'powers that be' around here has taken a liking to the
  15. WordPerfect approach to marking document revisions where deletions
  16. are struck out and additions are shaded.

  18. Word comes close if you have 'mark revisions' set on, but if you want to
  19. compare two versions of an existing document Word will only highlight the
  20. changes on a paragraph by paragraph basis.  It doesn't highlight the actual
  21. changes, it just marks the paragraph as changed.

  23. My question is (a) has anyone thrown together a macro to do revision
  24. highlighting in W4W (speed isn't and issue), or (2) can anyone point me
  25. to a third package that can compare and add the highlighting to existing
  26. documents (cost within reason isn't an issue).

  28. BTW, I do know that AmiPro will handle this just fine but I'd like to
  29. stick to Word for now.
