- How big it needs to be depends on how much physical memory you have.
- I run one of my machines without a swap file at all, which is the best
- choice if you have enough real memory to not need one. If you do need

- The extension shouldn't matter. What have you tried to do to delete
- it? First you need to make it 'not hidden'. DOS 5 can do this --
- otherwise you may have to resort to something like Norton Utilities.
