  20. How big it needs to be depends on how much physical memory you have.
  21. I run one of my machines without a swap file at all, which is the best
  22. choice if you have enough real memory to not need one.  If you do need
  23. one, use the Permanent one.  It will always be faster than the
  24. Temporary.

  30. The extension shouldn't matter.  What have you tried to do to delete
  31. it?  First you need to make it 'not hidden'.  DOS 5 can do this --
  32. otherwise you may have to resort to something like Norton Utilities.
