- Well, NDIS is only the half of what you're after. You're correct that
- you want to run an NDIS-based stack in order to properly share your
- NIC, etc.. however, if you want TCP/IP to be the native transport for
- Windows for Workgroups (e.g., file, print sharing, netDDE, etc..over IP),
- then you'll need an RFC1001/1002-compliant NetBIOS over TCP/IP driver
- for your TCP/IP stack. Most PC-based TCP/IP vendors supply these with
- their software, or have them available as an add-in.

- Microsoft will be offering a package designed for Windows for Workgroups
- Q193 which will include TCP/IP which installs very easily with Windows
- for Workgroups, NetBIOS over TCP/IP, and Windows Sockets compliance.
