- We've begun using Codewright by Premia, here. Codewright is not exactly
- a vi editor. Codewright is a programming editor for windows, which is
- easily customizable. It comes with CUA or Brief - compatible command
- sets, but a vi command set is also available.
-
- I use the CUA command set, but several of the engineers in our office
- prefer to use vi and use that command set. What I've heard from them is
- that it does not have all the features of vi ( I think it lacks some of
- the ex commands). But if you're looking for a very good Windows editor,
- and are used to using the vi keys, you might examine this editor.
-
- It's not shareware, but they (Premia) allowed us to use it for 30 days
- before billing us. If we didn't like it, we didn't have to pay.
-
- What I like about the editor, is that it includes the source code for
- all of the regular much of the program, as well as a their API Library.
- So you can rewrite or modify almost every part of this editor then
- simply recompile it on your own editor.
-
- And No, we are not affiliated in any way with Premia.
-
- Hope this helps,
- Thomas Coleman
