- The Windows Postscript viewer can be found at SIMTEL-20, OAK and GARBO (wustel
- in Finland). The files which you need are
- GS252WIN.ZIP 190976 bytes (Ghostscript for Windows)
- GS252INI.ZIP 244224 bytes (Critical ini files, default UGLY.GSF postscript
- font and sample PS files)
- if you also intend to use DOS you must get either GS252386.ZIP (for 386/486)
- or GS252286.ZIP.
-
- These files can be found in the PostScript directory.
-
- Ghostscript will print to numerous devices but it will not display the whole
- page on the screen at once. It is supposed to be able to use Type 1 and Type 3
- fonts (I haven't tried it).
-
- The only problem is that it does not have any user interface yet. That means
- that if you want it to go you must send it a command line
- eg. GS tiger.ps (to display the file tiger.ps).
-
- If someone out there knows more about using GS please post.
