- Use the View... expandable/collapsible trees option. If selected, all of
- your drives will appear as "expanded". NDW's online help has more details on
- this (from NDW help, do a search on "refresh" and follow the thread).

- For me, it's a speed issue. Collapsed trees scan faster. On my SX/16 at
- work it takes FOREVER scan a 200MB network drive (60MB local drives go
- slowly as well). On my 486 at home, I keep the drives expanded. Your
- mileage may vary...

- Another tip: select Configure..., Preferences..., Advanced... and make sure
- that the "Save Tree Information Locally" box is checked. This will keep the
- TREEINFO.DT files from littering your root directories. See ya!
