- I was sent some materials from Claris about FileMaker Pro for Windows.
- I'm evaluating it as a possible antidote for dBaseIV 1.1. I've yet to
- switch any of my 40+ PCs to Windows - so this evaluation is being done
- to see how more quickly that transition will be made. My users are
- most dissatisfied with how their database needs are being met.
-
- From the reports I'm getting from COMDEX it seems as though everyone
- and their uncle is on the threshold of releasing a DBMS for Windows.
- But I'm not looking for the "elephant gun" of an MS-Access, or FoxPro,
- or dBase.
-
- Comments most welcome - but send 'em to the discussion.
-
- Thanks.
