  12. I have found a dangerous problem in QW 1.0. That is overwriting existing
  13. entries in the register without knowing it. I have mistakenly overwritten
  14. an existing entry by not realizing which line I was on when I chose
  15. "USE" from the memorized transactions list. This led me to believe I had
  16. almost $800 more in my checking account than I did. This has happened a
  17. few times. Fortunately, I caught the problem before I bounced checks. It
  18. seems to have occurred more often when I use CheckFree electronic payment
  19. for some reason or other. I'll admit it is my fault for not making sure
  20. I'm on the first open register entry, but it seems there should be some
  21. protection against this type of error.
  22. Is there any way to protect against this happening or is there any more
  23. protection built into version 2.0 against this sort of thing?

  25. Any suggestions would be appreciated. E-mail if possible since I can't
  26. seem to keep up with the traffic on this newsgroup. I'll post a summary.
