- I've got Norton Deskton for Windows, version 2.0. My PC runs on a
- Novell LAN.
-
- I've just got round to installing the SmartCan TSR to get rid of that
- annoying "SmartCan protection is not available - delete anyway?" warning
- I get whenever I try to delete anything. It works fine for my hard
- drive, but nothing I delete from a network drive is UnErase'able.
-
- My guess if that SmartCan is pretty dumb and always trys to put its
- "smartcan" directory in the root of the drive being protected, even when
- I doen't have the right priveleges to do this.
-
- Is there any way of getting SmartCan to stash deleted files somewhere I
- can write to?
-
- TIA
