  16. Yep - MS is pricing full Access at $99 US for the first few
  17. months. This has become pretty common-place in the biz; Borland
  18. prived ObjectVision for about $100 for its first 6 months
  19. and then never really raised it. the 'limited time special' 
  20. makes users buy fast to get the cheap price.

  22. In this case (MS Access), it's low to get you to buy NOW
  23. rather than wait; and to get you to buy Access in place of 
  24. Paradox. When January comes, I'd bet they will find the
  25. suggested retail is $149, not $496 or $695. Now, if they
  26. are smart, they'll have 'Access PRO' for $295...

  29. it for $93US.
