  14. I am having trouble with database use of excel.
  15. I have tried to extract data items which satisfy the given criteria.!
  16. Everything other than the date data seem to work o.k.
  17. I tried several ways I could think of:

  19.       =date(1985,12,23) -> succeed 
  20.       > date(1985,12,23) -> couldn't find
  21.       > datevalue("12/23/85") -> couln't find
  22.       > 12/23/85 -> couldn't find.
  23. I think I can use the greater than (>) or less than (<) operator
  24. with date data but it didn't work. Then how can I find some data items
  25. which have date fields which satisfy the given criteria.
