  13. I downloaded version 3.0 of WinQVT/Net from ftp.cica.indiana.edu in
  14. /pub/pc/win3/uploads/qvtnet30.zip yesterday afternoon (UK time).  One of
  15. my colleagues tried to get hold of this morning and all he could find
  16. was a text file saying that qvtnet30 had been removed because it
  17. contained a "gross error" (something like that).

  19. I've been using 3.0 all day and I've had no trouble, so what problems
  20. should I look out for?

  23. While we're on the subject of WinQVT/Net 3.0, I've got a couple of other
  24. problems:-

  26. * The FTP server doesn't like commands like "dir c:\ab\cdef\*.*".  This
  27.   worked with version 2.85, so what's going on?

  29. * When I'm running an editor (GNU emacs) in a telnet or rlogin session
  30. and I hold down the cursor key, the cursor doesn't run along smoothly
  31. like it did in 2.85, it jumps about 5 characters at a time.  Any ideas
  32. why?
