  13. I've been trying to number figures/tables/exhibits in W4W 2.0, and have met
  14. with limited success.  I believe that I am on the right track when I autonum
  15. the figures/etc with an autonum fig field, and reference them in the text
  16. with a bookmark.  My problem seems to be that the figures do not renumber
  17. themselves unless you explicitly update the fields (or at printing...) and when
  18. you try to update the fields, it counts the references as autonumbers, and 
  19. you get "see figure 1" followed by figure 2, then "see figure 3" instead of
  20. "see figure 1," figure 1, "see figure 1."  
  21.  
  22. What is the MS approved procedure for doing this?
