  18. The only thing that surprises me is that IBM/MS does NOT sell something to
  19. justify such a bad move.
  20. I have used DOS Backup successfully over a wide range of Dos versions and 
  21. wide range of hardware without difficulty.  (Indicating that for some people
  22. it will work, AND that I _do_ know how to use it.)  I also have had a wide
  23. range _non_functional (it don't work) problems with DOS Backup over a wide
  24. range of Dos versions and hardware.  The latest example is a classic, problem.
  25. My new (ish) employer had paid a 3rd party service company to come in for 10
  26. years on a monthly basis, now they need one of these restored, but the system
  27. which made the backup refuses to acknowledge any dos backup disk.  Classic.
