  13. I'm sorry if this is an FAQ ( and also if this is the wrong group),
  14. but there's the following problem:

  16. A friend of mine tries to run Borland's TC on a 386 PC,
  17. ver about MSDOS 5.0.
  18. She doesn't succeed, cause of a strange error wich occures
  19. every time.
  20.     >Memory manager cannot initialize
  21. Unfortunately, my DOS manual doesn't report to this error ( even worse :
  22. NO error at all ), so I can't do anything against it.

  24. The real prob'is, that I can't figure out, if it is an error by DOS, or one
  25. by TC. Strange enough, this error occurs only on *this* machine and only
  26. while running TC (or at least try to ...).
  27.  
  28. I *know* that I should check the configuration, but I haven't *any* idea
  29. what this error means...
