  10. OK, DOS gurus give this one a shot.

  12. Why, when ECHO is ON, when I CLS, does my cursor go to the second line of the
  13. screen, but after I type ECHO OFF and then CLS, the cursor does go to the first
  14. line of the screen as advertised?

  16. Note:  Typing ECHO OFF at the command-line is a nifty, dirty trick that one can
  17. use on co-workers to liven up your day.  Give it a try.
