  11. We output a report to a HP Laserjet II printer. The report requires two
  12. sources of paper (one for a plain paper, the other for paper with company
  13. header).

  15. We managed to incorporate the proper escape codes in our report programs to
  16. switch between automatic and manual feed sources. The problem is that after
  17. switching, it always ejects a blank page. How can this blank page eject be
  18. disabled ?

  20. Also, is there a way or perhaps an undocumented escape code to turn the printer
  21. offline/online ? We are trying to make the printer pause so that the user can
  22. feed the printer with the proper paper. Unfortunately, our reportwriter program
  23. (SQL*REPORTwriter) is so inflexible we cannot make the report pause. So we
  24. have to play clever tricks with the printer to simulate the pause.
