  11. I've just uploaded a full port (Sans varian printer/ploter filters.)
  12. of the BSD lpr package to sunsite.unc.edu.  It includes everything you
  13. need to do local or remote printing spooling (or both.)  I think
  14. someone else has already done this, but I was unable to find it.

  16. I also made some additions to the printcap database to deal with
  17. the termios/sgtty differences.  If you have a serial printer be sure
  18. to read the README file.  (Be sure to read it anyway.)

  20. This isn't as fancy as the SysV print spoolers, but it is a lot
  21. easier to configure.
