  11. What does LILO do when you install it in the MBR of your hard disk ?
  12. Does it change the active partition to the partition containing the
  13. kernel / partition you boot ?

  15. 'Cause I played with it last night, and i could boot DOS, Linux and
  16. SCO Open Desktop fine, but when i put it in Linux's boot sector and
  17. changed the active partn. to linux, ODT wouldn't boot,
  18. presumably because its boot program seems to assume that ODT is in
  19. the active partition, and so it couldn't find the boot program to
  20. run...8-(

  22. So if I install LILO in the MBR will it change the active partition to
  23. ODT's if i "want" to boot ODT (not likely - it's dad's, not mine 8-)
  24. instead of Linux (now there's an impossible occurrence 8-) ?

  26. Or shall I just stick with BOOTLIN until I can convince Dad to turf
  27. ODT ;-) ?
