  14. alternately, a brave soul could rewrite the ETH pascal P-4
  15. compiler & interpreter pair in k&r C.  it's about 5KSLOC - 4 for the
  16. compiler, 1 for the interpreter.  the P-4 compiler is the one from
  17. which many, many other pascal compilers descended; plus it's free.
