  11. We have, as of today, switched mwcbbs over to Taylor uucp, version 1.04 gamma.
  12. With one known exception, file transfers have been at a minimum 10% faster
  13. than COHERENT's uucico on the 2400 bps modem and 20% on direct connections.
  14. If you are a frequent caller of mwcbbs, please let us know if you notice and
  15. behavioral changes, good and bad. (We can always switch back in 5 minutes
  16. if some crippling condition develops.)

  18. If you are a user of Taylor uucp, please be certain to stick with G-protocol.
  19. For the time being, all accounts are configured for it. In time, we will open
  20. up the configuration for the other Taylor supported protocols .
