- I've a problem with my ZyXEL internal modem - when I have DTR enabled
- (&D2) I cannot write to the modem - so "echo atz > /dev/modem" etc
- won't work, if I send 'ata' to the modem it just picks up the line for
- a split second, then drops it again - presumably because DTR has gone
- low as soon as the echo command is finished.
-
- The modeminit script provided calls sleep before writing to the modem
- - which presumably should raise DTR, but it seems to have no effect on
- my modem, I've had to turn off DTR monitoring with &D0.
-
- Does anyone know how to get around this so that I can leave &D2 ???
