- Rebooting is a bit extreme to fix this.. all you need to do is to
- echo the initialization string from the ansipc entry. I have a shell script
- that gets the entry, converts "\E" to ^[ and echos the string at the screen..
- I'll post it when I get my machine alive again (cron went into "while(1)
- fork();" mode and it appears it may have hosed /).
- BTW, the hosts probably sets the default value of TERM to whatever is
- in /etc/ttyptye or /etc/inittab for the tty line you happen to have gotten.
