  28. The permissions of vn are not necessarily the issue, but rather the permissions
  29. of the directory that vn wants to write to. The default permissions of a
  30. user's home directory don't allow public write, su user news couldn't write
  31. to your home directory. Don't run vn as setuid and it should work.
