- Actually, I have to thank Harry Pulley for the answer. Somehow
- the permissions and file ownership of the com port device files
- got clobbered. The onwership and group were all changed to root
- (instead of bin) and the permissions were changed to so that
- only root had rw access. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... I know I didn't
- do this myself, as I have gotten out of the habit of logging in
- as root so I can only guess that uucico died "ungracefully" on
- one of its cron runs and left everything that way.
