- Maybe I'm wierd, but I always take visitors to see Fry's
- Electronics. It's like being at the epicenter of Silicon
- Valley. There are three branches in Sunnyvale, Milpitas,
- and Palo Alto. They are enormous stores that sell almost
- everything electronic: PCs & Macs, video, audio, test
- equipment, wire, connectors, ICs, books, software, soldering
- supplies, calculators, phones, you name it. The really
- curious thing is that these stores are an outgrowth of
- the Fry's grocery chain, so they carry soft drinks, candy,
- chips, toothpaste, non-technical magazines, etc. A one-stop
- shopping center for the real nerd.
