- Beautiful! This is the cooperative spirit we don't see a whole
- lot of on any of the nets right now, probably because of the type
- of person who is technically minded (generalizing here, of course)
- and who is more likely to talk about rights over relationships.
- Most newsgroups don't seem like communities to me -- I think it's
- a little different over there on FidoNet, more little islands of
- people who know each other -- so as a result UseNet has to have
- discussion like these about strangers who charge in to make your
- life -- and thereby all of ours -- difficult.
