  21. Beautiful!  This is the cooperative spirit we don't see a whole
  22. lot of on any of the nets right now, probably because of the type
  23. of person who is technically minded (generalizing here, of course)
  24. and who is more likely to talk about rights over relationships.
  25. Most newsgroups don't seem like communities to me -- I think it's
  26. a little different over there on FidoNet, more little islands of
  27. people who know each other -- so as a result UseNet has to have
  28. discussion like these about strangers who charge in to make your
  29. life -- and thereby all of ours -- difficult.
